SAFETY MUST BE THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY FOR ALL MEMBERS AND VISITORS
Possession, use, or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly forbidden on Gun Club property at any time. Any offenders will have their membership in the club terminated.
Smoking is not permitted within the club house. Smoking must not occur within a distance of 20 feet from the main entry of any enclosed area.
Prior to use of any of the ranges new members must complete an orientation of the facilities to ensure that they fully understand the range rules, including the signage and flags that must be set in order to signify active ranges.
In addition to the above orientation, Restricted applicants must complete Club Level Handgun Training prior to being permitted to utilize Hand Gun Ranges without the presence of a Club Level Instructors/Qualified Members.
No Firearms are permitted inside the club house unless being used for training purposes. Firearms used for training purposes must be proven safe prior to entering the clubhouse.
AT NO TIME CAN AMMUNITION ACCOMPANY FIREARMS INTO THE CLUB HOUSE

- Assume every firearm is loaded.
- Control the muzzle direction at all times.
- Trigger finger must be kept off the trigger and out of the trigger guard.
- See that the firearm is unloaded – PROVE it safe.
- PROVE
- Point the firearm in the safest available direction.
- Remove all cartridges.
- Observe the chamber.
- Verify the feeding path.
- Examine the bore.
Offenders of Prince Edward Rod and Gun Club rules are subject disciplinary actions ranging from suspension of range privileges and possible termination of membership.
AS A MEMBER OF THE CLUB IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REPORT ANYONE WHO IS NOT ABIDING BY THE RULES OF THE CLUB, OR ARE ACTING IN A UNSAFE MANNER DIRECTLY TO ANY MEMBER OF THE EXECUTIVE.
